Aerowood Stairs is a seeking a dedicated railing installer to join our expanding yet tight-knit team of custom stair and railing professionals. With over 20 years in the business, Aerowood has established itself as a trusted name in the custom residential home building community and as such we are looking for motivated, reliable individuals with an eye for detail and a passion for working with their hands. Working on site (and in shop when required) you will assist and be responsible for the delivery and installation of a variety of different style railing systems (including wood, glass, metal, etc).
Job Description & Duties:
• Day Shift 9:00 am to 5:30 pm - Monday to Friday
• Delivery of railing systems to job sites
• Installation of wood, metal and glass railing systems
• Supplier pick-ups
• In shop manufacturing of wood components
• Measuring, cutting & grinding of metal pickets
• Installation of millwork components and hardware
• Clean up on site and in shop
Education & Licenses:
• High School Diploma (Required)
• Valid G-Class Drivers License (Required)
• Working at Heights Certification (or willingness to attain certification)
Skills/Assets:
• 3 years construction experience (Required)
• Railing installation experience (Required)
• Positive attitude and good communication skills (Required)
• Ability to work as a team and individually (Required)
• Ability to stand for multiple hours (Required)
• Fork lift experience and training (An Asset)
• Experience with hand and power tools (Required)
• Self-owned tools (An Asset)
